From Perthnow online:

Australia's first multiple gymnastics world championship medallist Lauren Mitchell, 19, will look to put a frustrating turn behind her after she missed much of this year, including Perth's national titles in July, because of injury.

Delhi, Mitchell's first Commonwealth Games, looms as an ideal proving ground for the gymnast with only one other medallist from the 2009 world titles, England's Beth Tweddle, among a challenging, but not daunting, field.

"Ever since I was a little girl, it's been my goal to go to the big three events," Mitchell said.
