Purvis, Racea Glorified at Glasgow

The second All Around edition of the new World Cup format in Glasgow is now complete. After a changing women's lineup, replacement gymnast Romanian bronze medallist from Berlin Elena Amelia Racea triumphed with Venezuelan Jessica Lopez and Racea's compatriot Raluca Oana Haidu rounding out the medals. Haidu had a fall on her Jaeger according to International Gymnast Online but still managed to snare the bronze from German Elisabeth Seitz. In the Men's competition, things were a lot closer with Great Britain's own Daniel Purvis taking out the gold with one-tenth of a point edge over German Philipp Boy. Spain's Rafael Martinez was the bronze medal recipient. Wild Card entrant, Britain's Daniel Keatings who is on the comeback trail finished unofficially fourth with an all around total of 87.366, with the highest mark on the parallel bars with a 15.100.
