In the absence of defending National Champion Jessica Gil Ortiz, Antioquia's Bibiana Maria Velez Alzate has taken out the 2012 Colombian WAG All Around Title. The Men's and Women's Championships were held from the 18th to the 20th of May. Velez won the title over Boyaca's Ruby Marcela Sandoval Afanador with Catalina Elena Escobar Gomez coming in third. Antioquia's Jorge Hugo Giraldo Lopez took out the Men's title from Valle's Joseph David Hodges and Norte de Santander's Jhonny Alexander Munoz Perez. Bibiana Velez also took out the Vault title over Escobar Gomez and Melba Yurany Avendano Romero and won the Uneven Bars title over Avendano Romero and Escobar. Ruby Marcela Sandoval Afanador took out the Balance Beam and Floor Exercise titles. Jorge Hugo Giraldo Lopez won the Pommel Horse, Still Rings, Parallel Bars and Horizontal Bars titles. Jhonny Alexander Munoz Perez took out the Floor Exercise honors and Johan Santa took out the Vault title.
