Denver vs Iowa vs SEMO vs UIC

Tonight's meet hosted by Denver University at the Hamilton Gymnasium sees them take on Southeast Missouri State University, the University of Iowa and the University of Illinois-Chicago and is the first time since 2014 that the Pioneers will boast a sold out crowd. At the halfway mark Denver has a narrow lead over the team from the University of Iowa with Illinois-Chicago in third. After a rough beam rotation Southeast Missouri sits in fourth having had a quick turnaround with their last meet being on Friday. Team Standings remain unchanged after the third rotation but a low scoring Uneven Bars rotation saw the gap between UIC and SEMO move to just 0.650 points. Denver triumphed over Iowa with SEMO finishing third narrowly pipping the University of Illinois-Chicago. It was a fantastic night for Denver's 5th year Senior Nina McGee who took out the All Around, Vault and Uneven Bars titles as well as capturing the Floor Exercise honors with her second PERFECT 10.0 of the season on the event! The marks on the Vault and Bars tied her career-highs with her All Around score a new career-high mark! Denver Junior Julia Ross earned the Balance Beam title by tying her career-high score.
