2010 Swiss Cup
7:06 AMThe 2010 Swiss Cup will be held in Zurich on the 31st of October. It is the 32nd edition of the event, and we shall be looking for some new champions! The Swiss Cup is a mixed pairs event. Gymnasts choose the order of the apparatus they compete, however after the second round the four lowest scoring teams will be out of the competition. The remaining teams then select the next apparatus and the four best teams then qualify for the final. During the final, all teams start from zero and choose from all four of the apparatus, where before the couldn't recompete the apparatus.
ETA: Germany has added another team (Hill/Krimmer), Rebecca Downie of Great Britain is being replaced by compatriot Imogen Cairns, the Mexican duo of Elsa Garcia Rodriguez Blancas and Daniel Corral Barron will not be in attendance, instead a team from Bulgaria (Mileva/Jovtchev) have been added, and Yana Demyanchuk will be substituted for Anastasiia Koval to compete instead for the Ukranian team.
