On the Fifth Day of Christmas, Gymnastics Brought to Me: Venezuelan Ivet Rojas!

Ivet Rojas has been a mainstay of the Venezuelan team for a number of years now. A five-time World Championship team member, Ivet will compete at the 2012 Olympic Test Event, alongside Jessica Lopez. At the recent Pan American Games, Ivet came 14th in the All Around Final with a score of 50.675, and 6th in the Uneven Bars final (12.700). She competed at the ALBA Games in Maracaibo where she placed 18th in the All Around with 38.600, after only competing on three events. Her season culminated in Tokyo, at the World Championships where she placed 94th in the All Around (48.932), 126th on the Uneven Bars (11.466), 141st on Balance Beam (11.833) and 121st on Floor Exercise (12.300). Plus in the wake of Jessica Lopez's absence at the Juegos Nacionales Venezuela, Rojas won the All Around title with a score of 53.550, took the Uneven Bars title (13.475), was third on the Balance Beam (12.150) and 1st on the Floor Exercise (13.100).
