Canadian Juniors Triumph but Andrade Steals The Show

The Canadian Junior Women's Team has taken out the Team Title at the 2012 Junior and Senior Apparatus Pan American Championships. The Canadian team (consisting of Victoria Kayen Woo, Meaghan Chant, Ivy Lu and Aleeza Yu) took the title by 0.434 of a point over second place Brazil, with the Mexican contingent coming third. However, it was the Brazilian Rebeca Rodrigues De Andrade, who had a stellar day of competition - she took out the All Around, and qualified with the top score to the Vault, Balance Beam and Floor Exercise. With Kayen Woo topping the Uneven Bars qualification. Canadian's Victoria Kayen Woo and Aleeza Yu took out the remaining medals in the All Around.
