The FIG have announced the decisions of the FIG Disciplinary Commission in regards to the doping cases related to Artistic Gymnast Luiza Galiulina of Uzbekistan and Russian tumbler Andrey Krylov. From the FIG Website:


The first case involved Uzbek Artistic Gymnast Luiza Galiulina, 20 years, who tested positive for Furosemide at the London Olympic Games. Galiulina has been suspended for a period of six months, effective from August 1, 2012 through and including January 30, 2013.

The Uzbekistan Gymnastics Feeration was charged with CHF 2'000.00 towards the cost of the procedure.

The second case examined by experts involves Russian tumbler Andrey Krylov, who tested positive for stimulants at the Trampoline World Cup stage in Loulé (POR), September 2012. Krylov received a twelve-month suspension, effective from October 1, 2012 through and including September 30, 2013.
The Russian Gymnastics Federation was charged with CHF 3'000.00 towards the cost of the procedure.

In both cases, efective from November 13 2012, the gymnasts and their respectives national federations may appeal to the FIG Appeal Tribunal up to 21 days following the decision.
