The Northern Illinois University Gymnastics team won at the NIU Convocation Center over Ball State University on Friday. Northern Illinois Sophomore Jaelyn Olsen won the Vault and Uneven Bars titles whilst Senior team mate Megan Melendez won the Uneven Bars title despite suffering an ankle injury which saw her withdraw from the Balance Beam event. Senior Kim Gotlund won the All Around title. Ball State Sophomore Denasiha Christian won the Floor Exercise honors.
