Michigan State defeated the University of Iowa on Friday evening as they recorded their first weekend of the season at the 8th Annual Jan Howard Memorial "Flip For A Cure" Breast Cancer Awareness Meet. Iowa Sophomore Alie Glover earned the All Around title.and tied for the Vault title with MSU Junior Alina Cartwright and Iowa Freshman Amanda Kowalski. Iowa Freshman Angel Metcalf and Junior Sydney Hoerr tied for the Uneven Bars honors whilst Cartwright also won the titles on the Balance Beam and Floor Exercise (tied with MSU Freshman Elena Lagoski).
