I have a zillion catch up posts and updates on the go at once so please bear with me! However I couldn't resist the opportunity to sit down and watch the final day of the Rhythmic Gymnastics competition at the 2015 Summer Universiade in Gwangju. SON Yeon Jae of the Republic of Korea top scored with all apparatuses to take the All Around title, can she scoop the Gold medals in the Event Finals today? Lovely to see a big crowd for today's finals. The last Summer Universiade where an Individual Rhythmic Gymnast scooped all the Individual honors was in 2009 (Russian Evgeniya Kanaeva). SON's first up and it's a lovely routine. My favorite part of the Rhythmic competition is the leotards - stunning!! I am now a huge fan of Uzbekistan's Elizaveta Nazarenkova. Lovely routine from Melitina Staniouta. Unfortunate drop in the middle of her routine for Katsiaryna Halkina. It has been awhile since I have seen a sleeveless Rhythmic leotard but France's Kseniya Moustafaeva pulls it off! Lovely routine from Ganna Rizatdinova. SON Yeon Jae takes the Hoop title over Russia's Maria Titova and Belarussian Melitina Staniouta.

And we're onto the Ball Final. Lovely routine by Viktoriia Mazur. The seats in the "Kiss and Cry Area" seriously look like aeroplane seats! Drop by Sakura Hayakawa in her routine. Lovely one sleeved leotard for Ganna Rizatdinova. Gorgeous routine. Beautiful routine by SON Yeon Jae. Another gorgeous routine by Melitina Staniouta. SON picks up another gold over Ukraine's Ganna Rizatdinova and Russian Maria Titova.

We move onto the 5 Ribbons Group Final. With only five groups in this year's Group competition - they all get to contest the Apparatus Finals!! Russia dominated the Group All Around and barring any major mistakes should take the Golds today. I have been absolutely thrilled with the Finnish Group - what a moment it must have been picking up the All Around bronze. Lovely routine by the Russians. The Russian Group picks up another gold over Ukraine and Finland!

Moving on to the Clubs final! Solid routine from Kseniya Moustafaeva to start off. Lovely routine from LEE Daae. Melitina Staniouta took a Huge leap to catch one of her Clubs. Oh no.... an unfortunate drop for SON Yeon Jae. Awesome routine from Rizatdinova! Rizatdinova takes the title over Melitina Staniouta and SON Yeon Jae.

Moving onto the final Individual Apparatus final - the Ribbon. Phenomenal routine from SON Yeon Jae. Lovely routine from Kseniya Moustafaeva. Another incredible routine from Ganna Rizatdinova. Sensational routine from Melitina Staniouta. Staniouta earns the Ribbon title over SON Yeon Jae. Ganna Rizatdinova picks up the bronze.

The final event of the Rhythmic program is the 6 Clubs, 2 Hoops.The Ukrainian routine would have to be one of my favourites!! One of the Russian gymnasts dropped one of her Clubs and looked like another couple of issues throughout the routine. Unfortunately the Chinese group drop one of their gymnasts. Ukraine takes the title over Japan and Russia!
