The 2016 Aquece Rio Test Event in Trampoline Gymnastics will be held on the 19th of April. The top five Male and Female Trampolinists after the qualification round at the Test Event will earn the right to send a gymnast to the Olympics. Unlike the Artistic and Rhythmic Gymnastics disciplines the Individual Trampoline qualifiers earn the place for their National Federation with each nation naming their Olympian closer to the Olympics. Top performers from the 2015 World Championships - Belarussians Tatsiana Piatrenia and Uladzislau  Hancharou, China's LI Dan, LIU Lingling and GAO Lei and Russia's Andrey Yudin will also be competing.
