Today marked the final day of Qualifications in the Lausitz-Arena of the 40th Turnier der Meister Cottbus World Challenge Cup. Sanne Wevers of the Netherlands outclassed Germany's Sophie Scheder and Poland's Katarzyna Jurkowska-Kowalska to take the top score on the Balance Beam. From the original start list, Latvia's Valerija Grisane did not compete on the Balance Beam whilst Finland's Tomi Tuuha did not,compete on the Vault due to his wrist injury. Greece's Nikolaos Iliopoulos and Poland's Lukasz Borkowski did not compete on the Parallel Bars. Lisa Top continued the good fortune for the Dutch Women on the second day topping Jurkowska-Kowalska and German Antonia Alicke on the  Floor Exercise. Ukrainian Oleg Verniaiev topped the Vault standings over China's QU Ruiyang and Switzerland's Benjamin Gischard. Germany's own Marcel Nguyen and Lukas Dauser were the top two qualifiers on the Parallel Bars with Verniaiev and China's ZHU Xiaodong in third. Switzerland's Pablo Braegger and Christian Baumann were the top and second highest qualifiers on the Horizontal Bar. Toba was third.
