Gymmin' Miel!

The final day of competition at the 2015 Osijek Challenge Cup was contested yesterday. Brazil's Jade Fernandes Barbosa dominated on the Balance Beam, taking the honors over Hungary's Dorina Boczogo with Isabella Amado Medrano finishing in third. Puerto Rico's Paula Andrea Mejias Rodriguez triumphed on the Floor Exercise with Cuba's Marcia Vidiaux Jimenez and Hungary's Tunde Csillag tying for second. Slovenia's Tjasa Kysselef came into the Floor  Exercise final to replace Slovakia's Barbora Mokosova. Brazil's Arthur Nabarrete Zanetti took out the Still Rings honors over Ukraine's Igor Radivilov with Great Britain's Courtney Tulloch finishing in third. Radivilov topped the field on the Vault with Japan's Wataru Tanigawa and Finland's Tomi Tuuha finishing in second and third respectively. Brazil's Arthur Nory Oyakawa Mariano narrowly won the Horizontal Bar title over Nicolas Cordoba of Argentina with third place going to Caio Campos Souza of Brazil.

The first day of Finals have been contested at the 2015 Osijek Challenge Cup competition in Croatia. Puerto Rico's Paula Andrea Mejias Rodriguez narrowly won the Vault Final over Hungary's Boglarka Devai whilst Franchesca Anttonella Santi Munos of Chile finished in third. Great Britain's Ruby Harrold dominated on the Uneven Bars with Finland's Annika Urvikko and Brazil's Thauany Lee de Araujo finishing in second and third respectively. Israel's Artem Dolgopyat earned the top mark on the Floor Exercise with Slovenia's Ziga Silc and Mexico's Daniel Corral Barron rounding out the top three. Showcasing the most difficult routine in the field - Great Britain's Louis Smith dominated in the Pommel Horse final taking the honors over Robert Seligman of Croatia and Andrii Sienichkin of Ukraine. While on the Parallel Bars, Ukraine's Oleg Verniaiev overcame a disappointing Qualification to take the title with Turkey's Ferhat Arican and Hidetaka Miyachi finishing second and third respectively.

The 2015 Osijek World Challenge Cup is set to take place from the 17th to the 20th of September at the Hall "Gradski VRT" in Osijek, Croatia. The Qualifications to Event Finals will take place over the two days of the 17th and 18th with the Finals taking place on the 19th and 20th. The Nominative Registrations have been released and I personally am really excited for this competition!

N.B: Mexico is sending DeLuna, Corral Barron, and Cervantes Quezada. Panama is sending Amado Medrano and Brostella Arias.
