25th Trnava Gym Festival

The 25th edition of the Trnava Gym Festival was held from the 1st to the 3rd of June at the City Sports Hall, Rybnikova 15. Last year Romanian then-Junior Larisa Iordache won the All Around, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam and Floor Exercise titles, whilst Russian Anna Pavlova won the Vault title. This year, Anna Pavlova took out the All Around over Romania's Raluca Oana Haidu and Uzbekistan's Luiza Galiulina. Highest scorers on each event during the All Around were: Pavlova on Vault (15.000) and Balance Beam (14.600) and Haidu on the Uneven Bars (14.000) and Floor Exercise (13.550). Germany's stalwart Oksana Chusovitina won the Vault event final over Pavlova and fellow German competitor Janine Berger. Anna Myzdrikova was fourth. Berger won the Uneven Bars title over the two Uzbekistan competitors Luiza Galiulina and Darya Elizarova who tied for second. Galiulina won the Balance Beam title over Pavlova and Elizarova, whilst Pavlova also took the Floor Exercise title from German Pia Tolle and Austria's Stephanie Dittert. Also held in conjunction with the Gym Festival was the 44th Trnava Cup where teams of two born between and inclusive of 1999 to 2002. Well done to all!
