Hamburg Gymnastics International Tournament

The Hamburg Gymnastics International Tournament is set to take place on the 16th and 17th of November at the Sporthalle Wandsbek in Germany. The competition sees Junior and Senior Women's Artistic Gymnasts take to the Arena. The event comprises a qualification round, The Main Draw, a Lucky Loser Round and the Top Five Finals. After receiving the registrations from the teams, they were divided into three groups which will contest the qualification together. Once this initial round has been completed, the team which place 1-3 qualify directly for the Top Five final, whilst places 4-8 qualify to the Main Draw with the remaining place teams qualifying to the Lucky Loser Round. The following qualify to the Top Five: The top 3 teams from qualification, the winning team of the Main Draw and the winning team of the Lucky Loser Round.
Personally, I am looking forward to seeing how the members of the USA All Star Team from Region 7 go. Especially Nicole Medvitz (ENA Gymnastics, Paramus), Erin Buchanan (Capital Gymnastics National Training Center), Alicia Boren (North Stars Gymnastics Academy), and Alexandra McMurtry (Richmond Olympiad). Also look for the following gymnasts to make a fantastic contribution to their teams: Julie-Sophie Wagner (Turnteam Hamburg), Isabelle Marquard (Turnteam Hamburg), Rita Limao Oliveira and Ekaterina Kislinskaya (Ginasio Clube Portugues Lissabon), Katharina Muller (TV Uberlingen-Bodensee), Spain's Carolina Sanchez Martinez and Ainhoa Carmona Urbano (who are competing as guests for Gym Tittmoning), Turning Spirit Amsterdam's Noel van Klaveren, Vera van Pol and Lisa van der Spek, and Lisa Katharina Hill (TS Grossburgwedel).
