NCAA Women's Gymnastics Results - Georgia vs Stanford

The Georgia Gymdogs dominated in their win against Stanford University at the Stegeman Coliseum on the 21st of January. Stanford had to compete without Ivana Hong, who had been a star performer in recent weeks as she had an issue with one of her routines during the warm ups, with Stanford Head Coach Kristen Smyth deciding to rest her for the meet. Cardinals' gymnast Ashley Morgan was the lone gymnast to compete on all four events. Georgia's Lindsey Cheek tied with Stanford's Nicole Dayton for the Vault title, Georgia's Brandie Jay and Chelsea Davis tied for the Uneven Bars honors, whilst Stanford's Amanda Spinner triumphed on the Balance Beam. Shayla Worley and Kaylan Earls both of Georgia shared in the Floor Exercise high score.
