Monday the 15th of July saw Ossur Debes Eiriksfoss of the Faroe Islands, earn the silver medal in the Men's High Jump at the 2013 NatWest Island Games. Ossur is also competing in the Gymnastics competition at the Island Games and was a member of the Gold Medal winning team on the Sunday. Ossur actually jumped the same height as Gold medal winner Jahnhai Perinchief of Bermuda but due to a count back had to settle for second place. Well done Ossur! He will also compete in the Triple Jump on Friday.
