Day 1 - Pan Am Games RG Apparatus Finals

The first day of the Apparatus Finals at the 2015 Pan American Games was contested today. American Laura Zeng added another two gold medals to her haul, taking out both the Hoop and Ball Apparatus titles which were on offer today. Fellow American Jasmine Kerber was the silver medalist with both Apparatuses, whilst Brazilian Angelica Kvieczynski was the bronze medalist with the Hoop and Mexican Karla Diaz Arnal rounded out the top three with the Ball. The Brazilian Group consisting of Morgana Regina Gmach, Dayane Amaral, Emanuelle Lima, Jessica Sayonara Maier, Beatriz Pomini and Ana Paula Ribeiro dominated with the 5 Ribbons to take the title. The United States Group finished second with the Canadian Group earning the bronze.
