2016 USAG Women's Collegiate National Championships

The field to contest the 2016 USA Gymnastics Women's Collegiate Gymnastics National Championships was announced last Monday. The 2016 Championships, which are being hosted by Lindenwood University will take place from the 8th to the 10th of April at Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Missouri. Competition is set to be fierce between the host and reigning National Champions - Lindenwood University and the top seeded University of Bridgeport which won six straight National crowns from 2009 to 2014. Three Individuals have qualified to contest the All Around - West Chester University's Selena Swanger and Majesta Valentine and Centenary College's Ashley White.
Two semifinals will take place on the first day of competition with the top two teams from each semifinal advancing to the Team Final on the Saturday. The All Around competition will be decided on the first day of the National Championships whilst the top five individuals on each event from the each of the Friday sessions will advance to the Event Finals on the Sunday.
