I'm getting a head start this year on the 12 Days of Gymnastics. I should have mentioned that in the first place, sorry for the confusion. I arrive back home in beautiful and hopefully sunny Australia late on Christmas Day, where my family will celebrate a late Christmas on Boxing Day! Then it's off camping to see in the New Year. I will be back online on the 7th of January (or maybe earlier depending on the weather and/or family work commitments) just in time for the London Test Event!!
Here's the start of a daily series of posts wishing those gymnasts, both well known and not the happiest birthday that they can imagine.... Who do you share the day with? Starting only with the Women's Artistic Gymnasts, I hope to by the end of a few months time. Have all disciplines written down in the diary that I have purposely bought for this.
Many Happy Returns to:
- Dezirie Saldana of the Philippines (1993) who competed as a Junior at the 2008 Pacific Rim Championships, where she competed three events: Vault, Beam and Floor. Scoring 11.350, 9.550 and 10.250 respectively.
- India's Swarnali Debnath who finished eighth on the floor exercise at the 2009 Indian Championships also born in 1993 celebrates her birthday today as well.
- As does Uzbekistan's Sitora Mukhamedova who turns a very young 13 years old today!
