Finals in Doha

Find below the results from both days of the Finals at the 2012 Doha World Cup event. Starting with Day Two. For the Women, Catalina Ponor won two gold medals (Balance Beam and Floor Exercise). On the Balance Beam, Ashleigh Brennan and Poland's Marta Pihan-Kulesza rounded out the Beam medals, whilst Romanian Diana Laura Bulimar and China's JIANG Yuyuan rounded out the Floor medalists. China's DU Wei won the Men's Vault title over Armenian Artur Davtyan and Poland's Marek Lyszczarz. Chinese superstar GUO Weiyang won the Gold medal on the Parallel Bars and Bronze on the Horizontal Bar whilst Frenchman Yann Cucherat won silver on both these events. Switzerland's Claudio Capelli was third on the Parallel Bars. 2008 Olympian ZOU Kai won the Horizontal Bar with a MASSIVE 7.9 Difficulty Score!! 

On the first day of Finals, Swiss starlet Giulia Steingruber won the Women's Vault title with German Nadine Jarosch and Teja Belak of Slovenia rounding out the top three. British Uneven Bars star Elizabeth Tweddle dominated her pet event over China's JIANG Yuyuan and Germany's Lisa Katharina Hill. ZOU Kai won the Floor Exercise with Croatian Tomislav Markovic and Romanian Vlad Bogdan Cotuna second and third respectively. On the Pommel Horse, Slovenia's Saso Bertoncelj was successful over China's LIAO Qiuhua and Frenchman Cyril Tommasone. On the Still Rings, LIAO Qiuhua was the Gold medalist with Armenian Vahagn Davtyan and France's Danny Pinheiro-Rodrigues in silver and bronze positions.
