Women's NCAA Gymnastics Conference Championships

BIG 12 CHAMPIONSHIPS:
The Big 12 Championships will be held on the 23rd of March at the Hilton Coliseum on the Iowa State University campus. Competition will get underway at 2.00pm (local time). The University of Oklahoma team will be looking to retain the title they earned last year.

  • West Virginia University - Starting on Floor Exercise
BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIPS:
The Big 10 Championships will take place on the 23rd of March at the Jenison Field House in East Lansing, Michigan. Nebraska will hope to win a consecutive team title with Emily Wong and Jessie DeZiel as well as Michigan's Sachi Sugiyama hoping to retain the titles that they earned last season. The competition is divided into two sessions - the first beginning at 1.00pm E.T. and the second starting at 6.00pm E.T.

EAST ATLANTIC GYMNASTICS LEAGUE (EAGL) CHAMPIONSHIPS:
The EAGL Championships are set for 2.00pm (E.T.) on the 23rd of March at the Carmichael Arena on the University of North Carolina campus. Reigning champions West Virginia are no longer a part of the EAGL conference and as such the team title could be anyone's!

EAST COLLEGE ATHLETIC CONFERENCE (ECAC) CHAMPIONSHIPS:
The 2013 ECAC Championships will be held on the 23rd of March at the Newman Arena on the Cornell University Campus. Competition will get underway at 12.00pm in Ithaca, New York and will see teams from Cornell University, College at William & Mary, Brown University, University of Pennsylvania, Temple University and Yale. UPenn took out the team title last year and Penn's Kirsten Strausbaugh will be hoping to recapture the Uneven Bars and Floor Exercise titles she won last year, whilst William & Mary's Brandy Stover will be hoping to defend her Balance Beam title.
 
ECAC DIVISION II CHAMPIONSHIPS:
The ECAC Division II Championships will be held on the 23rd of March at the Wheeler Recreation Center with competition beginning at 1.00pm (local time). Teams from the University of Brideport, West Chester University and Southern Connecticut State University will be taking part.

MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE (MAC) CHAMPIONSHIPS:
The 2013 MAC Championships will take place from 2.05pm (local time) on the 23rd of March at the University Arena on the Western Michigan University campus in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Central Michigan will be aiming for a forth consecutive team title.

  • Northern Illinois University - Starting on a Bye
  • Central Michigan University - Starting on Uneven Bars

MIDWEST INDEPENDENT CONFERENCE (MIC) CHAMPIONSHIPS:
The MIC Championship will be held on the 23rd of March in the Gold Dome on the Centenary College campus in Shreveport, Louisiana. Competition is set to go underway at 5.00pm (Local Time) with Illinois State University hoping to win their second-consecutive team title. The other teams in action in Louisiana will be Centenary College, University of Illinois-Chicago, Southeastern Missouri State University, Texas Women's University and newcomers Lindenwood University.

MOUNTAIN PACIFIC SPORTS FEDERATION (MPSF) CHAMPIONSHIPS:
The MPSF Championships will be taking place on the 23rd March at the Brougham Pavilion in Seattle, Washington with competition beginning at 6.00pm Pacific Time. University of California-Davis will be aiming to capture their fourth consecutive team title, after winning the title in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Other teams competing in the MPSF Championships are the University of Alaska-Anchorage, the U.S. Air Force Academy and Seattle Pacific University.

PAC-12 CHAMPIONSHIPS:
The PAC-12 Championships will be held on the 23rd of March at the Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, Oregon. The competition will see the teams compete in one of two sessions - the first beginning at 1.30pm (PT) and the second commencing at 7.00pm (PT). UCLA will be hoping to defend the title they won last year whilst Stanford's Ivana Hong and UCLA's Vanessa Zamarippa and Olivia Courtney hope to succeed on the Vault with Georgia Dabritz (Utah) and Ashley Morgan (Stanford) hoping to defend the titles they won on the Uneven Bars and Floor Exercise respectively.

  • SEED 2: University of California-Los Angeles - Starting on Uneven Bars
  • SEED 3: Oregon State University - Starting on Balance Beam
  • SEED 1: University of Utah - Starting on Floor Exercise
SOUTHEASTERN CONFERENCE (SEC) CHAMPIONSHIPS:
The SEC Championships will take place on the 23rd of March at the Verizon Arena in Little Rock, Arkansas. The competition will be divided into two sessions, with seeds 5 to 8 competing in the first beginning at 2.00pm (CT) and seeds 1 to 4 competing in the second which starts at 6pm (CT). Florida will be hoping to defend the Team title they won last year. 2013 SEC Award Winners were announced yesterday: LSU's Rheagan Courville has been named the SEC Gymnast of the Year; Florida's Bridget Sloan has been named the Freshman of the Year, with Rhonda Faehn earning her sixth Coach of the Year award with Alabama's Kim Jacob being named the Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

  • SEED 3: University of Georgia - Starting on Balance Beam
  • SEED 4: Louisiana State University - Starting on Floor Exercise
WESTERN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE (WAC) CHAMPIONSHIPS:
Competition will take place on the 23rd of March, commencing at 6.00pm MT at the Centrum Arena on the Southern Utah University campus. Denver University won the regular season WAC title going a perfect 4-0 in conference meets this season and will be hoping to retain the WAC Championship Team title they won last year. This will be the final WAC Championships for Gymnastics. Hoping to defend their titles from last year will be: Denver's Moriah Martin (JR) and Melodie Pulgarin Linero (JR) who tied for the Vault honors; Sacramento State's Junior Kailey Hansen who won the Balance Beam and Floor Exercise title. Alyssa Click (Sacramento State) will not be defending the Uneven Bars title she won in 2011 and 2012 after suffering a season ending knee injury during training in January.
