Recapping the Pan Ams EF Results

The Artistic Gymnastics at the 2015 Pan American Games has concluded with two days of Event Finals. Canadian Elsabeth Black was the big winner on the Women's side taking the Balance Beam and Floor Exercise titles and taking the bronze medal on the Vault, whilst Colombian Jossimar Orlando Calvo Moreno won the titles on the Parallel Bars, Horizontal Bar and Pommel Horse (tied with American Marvin Kimble), Cuba's Marcia Videaux Jimenez dominated on the Vault, taking the title over Yamilet Pena Abreu of the Dominican Republic. American Rachel Gowey won the Uneven Bars honors by 0.025 over Venezuelan Jessica Brizeida Lopez Arocha with Amelia Hundley of the U.S. winning the bronze. Megan Skaggs of the United States and Victoria-Kayen Woo of Canada were second and third respectively on the Balance Beam whilst on the Floor Exercise Hundley was second with Guatemala's Ana Sofia Gomez Porras third. Guatemala's Jorge Alfredo Vega Lopez won the Floor Exercise title over Americans Donnell Whittenburg and Samuel Mikulak, whilst Mexican Daniel Corral Barron finished third on the Pommel Horse. In a closely fought Still Rings final, Brazil's Arthur Nabarrete Zanetti still managed to dominate over Whittenburg and Cuba's Manrique Larduet Bicet. Larduet Bicet was the winner on the Vault, outscoring Whittenburg and Brazil's Caio Campos Souza. Larduet Bicet and Samuel Mikulak were second and third respectively on the Parallel Bars whilst on the Horizontal Bar Canadian Kevin Lytwyn and American Paul Ruggeri rounded out the medals.
