The 2012 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Cup series comes to a conclusion after the final event being held this weekend in Russia. The event, which takes place in Veliky Novgorod from the 8th - 9th of September sees competitors from only four nations take part (Belarus, Belgium, Kazakhstan and Russia). Going into this event, the Belgian Mixed Pair of Nicolas Vleeshouwers and Laure De Pryck and the Belgian Women's Group are currently on top of the rankings, with the latter all but securing the World Cup Overall title. The minimum number of participating nations were not achieved in the remaining categories, so as a result no World Cup points will be rewarded for these.
