Kevin Wolting (University of California-Berkeley) did not compete in today's competition and neither did Steven Legendre (University of Oklahoma/Team Hilton HHonors), the latter suffering an abdominal tear whilst competing on the Floor Exercise on the first day of competing. All the best to him for a speedy recovery. Samuel Mikulak (University of Michigan/Team Hilton HHonors) won his second consecutive All Around title, having a sensational second day of competition! John Orozco (U.S. Olympic Training Center/Team Hilton HHonors) was second with Jacob Dalton (University of Oklahoma/Team Hilton HHonors) finishing in third. Dalton took out the Floor Exercise title over Eddie Penev (Stanford University/Team Hilton HHonors) and Paul Ruggeri III (U.S. Olympic Training Center/Team Hilton HHonors), whilst on the Pommel Horse, Mikulak earned the title over Alexander Naddour (USA Youth Fitness Center/Team Hilton HHonors) and Ellis Mannon (University of Minnesota). Brandon Wynn of the U.S. Olympic Training Center/Team Hilton HHonors triumphed on his pet event - the Still Rings. Donnell Whittenburg (U.S. Olympic Training Center/Team Hilton HHonors) and C.J. Maestas (University of Illinois-Champaign) were second and third respectively. Whittenburg, Ruggeri III and Penev were the top scorers on the Vault. Danell Leyva of Universal Gymnastics/Team Hilton HHonors dominated on the Parallel Bars over Jonathan Horton (Cypress Academy of Gymnastics/Team Hilton HHonors) and Dalton who tied for second place. Orozco dominated on the Horizontal Bar with Mikulak and Ruggeri III finishing in second and third respectively.

Today sees the second day of the Women's Competition at the 2014 P&G U.S. National Championships which are being held at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Jazmyn Foberg of MG Elite will be hoping to top the standings again but Emily Gaskins (Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy) was nipping at her heels. It should be an interesting day of competition!

Foberg held on to top the Uneven Bars standings on her way to topping the All Around competition. Nia Dennis of Buckeye Gymnastics finished second in the All Around and also won the Vault and Floor Exercise titles. Alexis Vasquez of Chow's Gymnastics and Dance Institute was the winner of the Balance Beam title whilst her team mate Norah Flatley was the bronze medalist in the All Around.

The Junior National Team was also announced at the conclusion of the competition. Congratulations goes to:

Simone Biles dominated on the first day of competition at the P&G Championships and she will be hoping to repeat again today. Kyla Ross had a few issues on the first day and will be hoping to improve on her scores today. Maggie Nichols and Alyssa Baumann were second and third respectively in the All Around after the first day and I am hoping for their continued success today. At the halfway mark, Simone Biles maintains her lead over MyKayla Skinner and Baumann. Brenna Dowell has a disastrous routine on the Uneven Bars. Alyssa Baumann is currently being tended to by the medical team - hope she is okay. Biles falls on her side aerial on the Balance Beam. Biles wins her second National title over Kyla Ross with Maggie Nichols of Twin City Twisters in third. Biles won the Vault and Floor Exercise titles, whilst Ashton Locklear of Everest Gymnastics takes out the Uneven Bars honors and Kyla Ross earned the Balance Beam honors.
