Day Three - MAG/WAG Event Finals - LIVE!

5:58 AM

Tonight (London Time) sees the final day of Artistic Gymnastics Event Finals. Competition will include, the Men's Parallel and Horizontal Bars final and Women's Balance Beam and Floor Exercise finals. The first final begins at 2.00pm UTC at the North Greenwich Arena. LIVE SCORING WILL BE POSTED ON THIS POST.

Nine gymnasts will contest the Men's Parallel Bars final. Look for the Tanaka brothers to impress, but do not count out FENG Zhe and ZHANG Chenglong of China. Personally, I would love to see either Mexican Daniel Corral Barron or Greece's Vasileios Tsolakidis win a medal. On the Horizontal Bar, I would say that it is set to be a great final! Epke Zonderland is definitely in with a chance, as too are the Chinese men, Russian Emin Garibov and Germany's Fabian Hambuechen. Plus I would love to see the Americans, Jonathan Horton and Danell Leyva medal. The Women's competitions today should also be fantastic! On the Balance Beam, look for Romania's Catalina Ponor, China's SUI Lu or Russia's Victoria Komova or Ksenia Afanasyeva to make an impact. Personally, I am hoping for Gabrielle Douglas or Alexandra Raisman to medal! Also set to be a fantastic final is the Women's Floor Exercise final, in fact I can't even make a prediction!

FENG Zhe of China wins the Parallel Bars title! With Germany's Marcel Nguyen and Hamilton Sabot of France taking out the other medals! And now for the hugely anticipated Beam final! DENG Linlin wins the Beam title over SUI Lu and Catalina Ponor. It was a final of falls and bobbles! Wait Mihai's filling an inquiry on Aly's Beam score. OMG! Aly's D score get's raised to 6.3 FOR 15.066. TIED WITH PONOR - ON TIE BREAKING PROCEDURES SHE GETS THE BRONZE!!! In a high scoring Horizontal Bar final, the Dutchman Epke Zonderland takes the title! Fabian Hambuechen wins the silver with ZOU Kai taking the bronze. Poor Jordyn. BUT OMG ALY!!! BEST PERFORMANCE OF HERS EVER! Guaranteed a medal on Floor! IT'S ALL OVER! ALEXANDRA RAISMAN IN THE 2012 OLYMPIC FLOOR CHAMPION! Catalina Ponor wins silver and Aliya Mustafina the bronze!
